28th Birthday
I turned 28th yesterday! I can’t believe I am turning 30 in two years!
Anyway, I had a simple celebration at home. Usually, my family and I go out, and have a nice dinner somewhere, but since the risk of the pandemic is still evidently present, we decided to stay at home. I am just happy that I get to celebrate my birthday with Kevin as we both thought that we’ll still be apart at this time. But thankfully, the circuit breaker has been eased here in Singapore, and it has already entered Phase 2, which means people can already go out without restrictions.
I know 2020 has not been good to all of us, and it continues to screw us up, unfortunately. However, I still have lots to be thankful for: I am utterly grateful that my loved ones are healthy and safe amidst this pandemic. Also, I feel so blessed that in these trying times where a lot of people lost their jobs and went bankrupt, my, Kevin’s, my dad’s, and my sister’s jobs were not so affected; our source of incomes are still intact.
With this, I only have one wish for this year: I wish a vaccine for COVID-19 would finally be available. I also hope that those people who are experiencing hardships during this time could surpass this and come out of this stronger, though scathed.
I just really want us to go back to our normal lives.

Thank you for all the greetings! Keep safe, everyone! ❤️
