I'm Engaged! 💍

As the title says, I am engaged! After dating for almost 7 years, Kevin and I are getting married! ❤️This is just a quick update as I want to make it official here, and also because this wonderful event deserves a space here. I have been MIA for the past few months, and unfortunately, I think it will stay that way as both life and work have been hectic! Then now, I have wedding preparations to think of, as well!

Anyway, my boyfriend, Kevin, now fiancé (tbh, I am still not used to using that word), proposed last month during our trip in South Korea, and he did it in the most romantic and picturesque (albeit very cold!) place we have been to. He said he has been planning this since early this year: he has been flying to Manila back and forth to meet my mum to ask for her blessing, to inform his family about his plans, and to find the perfect ring! He also had meetings with my dad here in Singapore to also ask for his blessing. Everything was so thought-out! I couldn’t be any luckier to have been asked by this man to marry him!

To be honest, I had many hints already that he might propose during our trip. I was kind of expecting it already. I kept telling myself that I need to forget this particular thought because I might not get surprised anymore when it happens. But you know, on that exact moment, I forgot everything, and I just felt lots of emotions which ran through my body that I couldn’t explain properly. When I saw him kneeling down and trying to utter the speech he has prepared, I couldn’t help but tear up! I actually kept asking him and tapping his shoulders if he was serious; I was in that state of surprise! I feel giddy by just reminiscing these events! I am so happy and grateful, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

He hired a professional photographer to document everything. I am so happy someone was there to capture it while it was happening. The photos are so beautiful! I blush every time I look at them. Here are some of them!
